Lovely ski area and good proximity to the slopes. The staff at the hotel were generally friendly and accommodating. The meals were also adequate, and the room had a great view of the surrounding mountains.
The hotel lacked certain amenities such as a swimming pool and fresh vegetables at breakfast. the Wi-Fi connection in the rooms did not work well.

The best thing is the location. Close to the slopes of Fugen (Spieljochbahn) (2 min walk from the hotel)! Not far away from Hoshfugen. (12km). Buses go there every 15min from Spieljochbahn. Reception and Spa areas in the hotel are nice. (Although be ware: all people that you meet in the sauna area are Naked) We were shocked! But nice place to relax after a long day of skiing. Suggest to go closed to the closing hours, less people-less shock:) The owners of the hotel are very nice people, but they should pay more attention to their staff. Overall: we enjoyed staying at Fugen. Nature, slopes, sunny winter days made hotel disadvantages not that important!
We did not like quite a few things. 1) Housekeeping is poor: did not change towels for 2 days and sheets for a few days, although there was a stain from juice! 2)Mixer tap in the bathroom was leaking for 6 days and no one did anything at all! Breakfast is always the same, yet nice; dinners are not that great. Waiters (especially one lady) was so absentminded and seemed like she is from a different planet! She put us to one table and said its "ours" for the stay, the following day she moved us. We asked for one kind of wine, she brought another. We asked for a dessert that was on the menu, she brought another one, saying they ran out of what was offered initially!:)etc.etc

A wonderful and very helpful family enterprise, comprising of all family members working together. There were no problems that were too great that couldn't be solved, and people are treated as people instead of the usual " tourist who will never return", which is very unusual in such a location, especially during the peak skiing season, which I hope will sustain in the coming months . Food is adequate and well prepared, service is friendly and on the spot. Really, there is nothing negative about this hotel for the average person who wants to have a great view and access to the Alps, particularly with children as a family.

Great ski area, good view from room, friendly staff We came for a romantic escape and enjoyed skiing in the nearby area. the ski resort was fantastic and we had a great time exploring the slopes. the view from our room was also very nice and made for a great backdrop to our stay. the staff were friendly and always helpful. One thing we really appreciated was the ability to rent ski equipment on site, which saved us a trip to a separate rental shop.
the room was poorly equipped for the price we paid, lacking basic amenities such as a coffee maker or mini fridge.

We had a wonderful stay here! The location of this place is perfect, just a short distance from the Zillertal ski area and right opposite the ski lift. It made it so convenient for us to hit the slopes every day. The hotel also offers a paid airport shuttle, which was really helpful for us as we didn't have to worry about transportation. The room amenities were fantastic, with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and a comfortable sitting area. We loved spending time on the terrace, enjoying the beautiful views and relaxing on the garden furniture. The staff were friendly and accommodating, they even switched on the coffee machine for us at 6.30am when we were leaving. the quality of service and comfort provided by this hotel exceeded our expectations.
We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

This cozy Alpine hotel is located right opposite the ski lift, making it a convenient base for exploring the Zillertal ski area. the rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with modern bathrooms and stunning mountain views. the staff are friendly and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome. Breakfast is rich and satisfying, with fresh juice and plenty of options to choose from. After a long day on the slopes, relax in the sauna or take a dip in the pool. Parking is free, and there's a nearby spa for even more relaxation.
The hotel's location may not be ideal for those looking for a bustling town center with lots of nightlife.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was fantastic, being right opposite the ski lift, and it was only a short trip to the Zillertal ski area. The hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were incredibly friendly, helping us out by switching on the coffee machine at 6.30am when we were leaving. Breakfast was also delicious and gave us the energy we needed for a long day on the slopes.
Could not be improved in any way. My stay was perfect.
